What We Can Learn From The Grammy’s

When I watched the Grammys a few weeks ago, I was surprised by how moved I was. In a time when LA and our world were experiencing such darkness, this gathering became the salve I needed. I keep thinking about it. The love, unity, and celebration weren't accidental.

This is exactly what we strive for at Gather Co. The most impactful gatherings aren't just about logistics—they're about creating spaces where human connection flourishes naturally, especially when it's needed most.

When done right, events become more than entertainment—they become collective healing, celebration, and affirmation of our shared humanity.

So I was pumped when I saw that Trevor Noah's podcast following the show: a two-hour, behind-the-scenes, post-mortem with the Executive Producer, Ben Winston. I have full-on geeked out on this podcast - I can't get enough.

Most interesting to me were the critical choices the producers and Trevor, as the host, faced:

👉 Whether to proceed with the show during this traumatic time in LA

👉 How to create a setting and foundation that allowed magic to emerge organically

👉 Setting a stage where talent could authentically shine, by prioritizing their sense of emotional safety

I highly recommend this listen! https://lnkd.in/ghYMYYiB
